The Cercanias are a great option for medium distance trips, typically for day trips in which you have to move out of the city but stay within the province lines. AVE or normal train can also be used. Traveling to a popular destination like Sevilla, Barcelona or Granada can be easy by AVE, which is a high-speed train service. This transportation system can be a bit costlier than bus service but saves a considerable amount of time.
